The Opening Reception will be on Friday, February 9th from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Dowd Center Theatre. The reception is free and open to all.

The exhibit runs through March 8 and the Gallery is open Tuesdays through Thursdays 9 am – 12 pm. Additional days and times may be added. Please check social media or call for details.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ryan is an artist from Union County, Monroe, North Carolina. He has been drawing since holding his first pencil. As a young aspiring artist Ryan enjoyed drawing cartoons and unique designs.
As an 8th grader at Monroe Middle School, Ryan was chosen to design 2 logos for his school pep club and graduation program. As Ryan entered Monroe High he was able to take drafting classes, which opened a whole new world of creativity. Drafting increased Ryan’s abilities as a designer and later lead him to employment as a window treatment designer. Over the last 19 years Ryan has worked as a designer and has even been featured in national and international publications.
In 2000 when Ryan received an art kit as a Christmas gift he began watercolor painting, then moving to acrylics and oils before discovering acrylic as his medium of choice.
Currently Ryan is a mixed medium artist working with watercolor, acrylic, oil, wood and fabric.
